Massabki Award - Nomination Form

The National Apostolate of Maronites recognizes:

Characteristics of true Christian values; Qualities of national leadership and example to the Apostolate; Devotion above and beyond the call of duty to the Maronite Church in the United States of America.

Part I: Award Definition

Purpose:

One of the highest honors bestowed on a NAM member is the Silver Massabki Award which is presented annually.

This award, named after three martyred Maronite Brothers who refused to renounce their faith, is presented to NAM members who have contributed time, talent and treasure on a parish level. This award may be presented to a single individual or a married couple.


Eligibility:

a) Practical Catholic and active in their Maronite parish

b) Must have contributed to the welfare of their parish

c) Current paid membership in NAM for at least one year.


Qualifications:

a) Written recommendation of pastor.

b) The NAM Board of Directors has the option to present one at-large award per region.

1. Form must be completed by either pastor or parish administrator

2. All parts must be completed for consideration

3. Only one nomination per parish per year (exception: married couple)
